Run #6: Out & Back

Time for another so-called long run.  I couldn't be bothered to get creative, so I just headed east on Hongqiao Road for two miles, then turned right around and came home.   Fortunately there wasn't much scooter traffic (I tend to run in the scooter lane on the asphalt rather than the bumpy brick sidewalks) and I hit mostly green lights.

It was a bit chilly this morning, just above freezing.  Surprisingly I kept plenty warm with my lululemon capris, REI long-sleeve fleece, fuzzy headband ear-warmer thingy, and thin running gloves.  After 30 minutes the sunshine combined with my increased core temperature had even warmed me enough to break a sweat.  It reminded me that I still want to find some Chinese pediatrician to publish a report about appropriate attire for young children in cold weather - bundling them up until they look like the Michelin Man just isn't necessary!
